Hotline Miami 2 finally receives release date

The sequel to the brutal Hotline Miami will be available digitally in just under two weeks time.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will be launching on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Vita on March 10th.

Given that this is a Tuesday, it’s likely that the PlayStation versions of the game will be released the following day as the European PSN store refreshes on Wednesdays.

This date was revealed yesterday by the official Hotline Miami Twitter account (below), and had previously been teased in an answer phone message, the number to which was tweeted from the same account.

Pre-orders for the game are open for the PC version on Steam, Humble and GOG. PC gamers pre-purchasing the game will also receive Hotline Miami content for PayDay 2, courtesty of Overkill Games.

The game was originally slated for release last year, but wasdelayed to ‘early 2015’ last October.

Back in January, the Hotline Miami 2 was banned in Australia after the Australian Classification Board refused to classify the title.
