‘Huge’ FFXIII news due Friday

Square Enix has told MCV that ‘must see’ news about Final Fantasy XIII will be revealed via a video on the game’s official website this Friday afternoon.

Little is known about what the video will contain, but insiders at the publisher – which showed the game off at E3 in July – have labelled the reveal "a huge, special event".

Vice president of brand at Square Enix Europe Larry Sparks told MCV today:

We have some very big news regarding Final Fantasy XIII; that we will be revealing Friday afternoon.

"We wanted to share the news with as many people as possible, so we have created a special video that will be unveiled on Friday. We hope you enjoy the announcement.”
