IMG signs eSports organisations Cloud9, Dignitas and SK Gaming

Three major eSports organisations, including two of Europe’s largest teams, have been signed to international talent management agency IMG.

UK-based Dignitas, Germany’s SK Gaming and American Cloud9 have agreed to IMG handling their global representation, including marketing and endorsement opportunities.

The signing announced this week marks the second massive step the agency has taken into the world of eSports having acquired Global eSports Management at the start of this year.

The primarily sports talent agency represents several high-profile athletes and household names, such as John Madden.

The organisations are all major multi-team forces in the eSports world, between them fielding teams in almost every discipline across the genres.
