Indie hit Machinarium coming to Vita

PlayStation Vita will soon get a downloadable version of steampunk point-and-click adventure Machinarium.

The acclaimed indie game will be available from March 26th in the US for just $6.99 (roughly 5), according to Eurogamer. There’s no word on a UK date.

Machinarium is a point-and-click adventure in which players help a young robot save his town from destruction. There is no dialogue and all puzzle hints are conveyed through diagrams in speech bubbles.

The game is already available on the PS3, but there is no Cross Buy support so PS3 owners will have to purchase the Vita version separately.

Machinarium on Vita is expected to include all the improvements made on PS3, such as the ability to zoom in on in-game environments and objects.

It will also include PSN leaderboards to compare speedrun times and mini-game scores.
