Indie hit This War of Mine in the works for iPad

11 bit Studio’s wartime sim This War of Mine is in development for iPad devices, the developer has revealed.

Touch Arcade has the first look at the game’s mobile edition, which is expected out on the Apple App Store later this year. The indie studio promises an identical experience to the original release, even visually, for the iPad version when it’s done.

11 bit also addressed the possibility of the game being rejected by Apple due to content, stating that they’ve been in touch with the platform holder and there shouldn’t be a problem.

This War of Mine originally launched last November for PC, Mac and Linux – recouping its development costs in just two days time.
