Inside releasing on PS4 this month, report claims

Xbox One and PC critical hit Inside should be out on PS4 before the end of August.

VG247 has word from a trusted source that the game will hit Sony’s console some time at the end of August.

Inside is the second game from developer Playdead, which rose to prominence in 2010 when it released cult indie hit Limbo. This second title was released on aforementioned formats at the end of June and was an absolute smash with critics – it currently has a Metacritic score of 93.

An imminent PS4 would not be the biggest surprise after a list of PSN trophies for the title cropped up recently on ExoPhase.

It was confirmed last month that Playdead co-founder Dino Patti is leaving the studio.
