Insurance company Netsurance sponsors Team NP

Team NP, a North American Dota 2 team, have announced a new sponsor in the form of online insurance company, Netsurance.

The Canadian company has taken its first step into the world of eSports by sponsoring the team. The company name and logo will now appear on Team NP apparel and throughout its website. One of the players will also display the Netsurance name when playing in official matches.

“As one of Canada’s first online insurance companies, we’re proud to support one of Canada’s first, and our favourite, professional Dota team, NP,” said Netsurance’s President.

This is not the first time that NP have managed to secure a cool non endemic sponsor. Last year they were the first team to be sponsored by FYM Hot Sauce, a young brand looking to increase its reach in the young adult market. It seems to have worked with FYM Hot Sauce becoming a favourite of many Dota players and fans.

NP’s other sponsors include more traditional brands such as gg.bet and Loot Market.
