Interplay adds games to GameTap

Interplay has teamed up with download service GameTap to give away three classic releases for free.

Digital versions of Fallout, Descent and MDK will be made available for users via Gametap’s subscription-based play service, ad-supported website and digital download store.

However, no release date has been set.

Interplay has been and continues to be a great partner of GameTap,” said GameTap creative director, Ricardo Sanchez.

By expanding on our previous deal, GameTap will now feature more of Interplay’s top titles including their widely successful Fallout titles.”

The agreement also covers upcoming properties and other games from the Interplay back catalogue.

The can be distributed for free on GameTap’s ad-supported site, or sold digitally at a cost.

In April, a ‘reborn’ Interplay announced its intentions to bring a new Fallout MMO to market.
