iPhone 3GS arrives at retail

Staff at O2 and Carphone Warehouse stores across the UK this morning arrived at work to find queues on the street as eager punters battled to become amongst the first to get their hands on Apple’s shiny new iPhone 3GS.

In other news, O2 has claimed that over half of existing iPhone customers have already downloaded the new 3.0 firmware, which brings much of the new phone’s functionality to existing handsets.

Were the queues as big as expected. CasualGaming.biz will tell you right here.
