Jagex recruits Codemasters vet

David Solari has joined Cambridge publisher Jagex as chief marketing officer.

Solari joins following 14 years at Codemasters. His most recent role was vice president and general manager of Codemasters Online Gaming. In that role, he oversaw the launc of Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Archlord and RF Online.

In his new role Solari will take control of all Jagex marketing activities in the firm says is ‘the most significant year in our history.’

David’s leadership, online experience, gravitas and passion for games will help fortify an already successful team. On a personal note, David is an all round great guy and a perfect match for Jagex DNA.”
