Jobs talks porn on iPhone

Amongst the many strict rules Apple demands of those submitting apps to the potentially lucrative iTunes App Store is a unwavering stance toward adult material – Apple simply won’t put up with it.

So outraged is boss Steve Jobs about the notion of pornographic material appearing on his platforms that he even used it a tool with which to have a dig at rival Google:

You know, there’s a porn store for Android,” Jobs told attendees at the OS4 reveal gathering in the US last night. Anyone can download them. You can, your kids can. That’s just not a place we want to go.”

So there goes any chance that Apple’s stance may be changing in the near future…
