Kate Middleton to voice Lara Croft… sort of

The actress who portrayed Kate Middleton in straight-to-TV movie William & Kate has been unveiled as the new voice and performance actress” of Square Enix’s reinvented Lara Croft.

Camilla Luddington will star in the publisher’s upcoming Tomb Raider, which will be released on March 5th 2013.

This has been one of the most important jobs for us to get right,” Crystal Dynamic’s head of studio Darrell Gallagher stated.

This Tomb Raider game is very different to any other and we are demanding far more from the voice and performance acting than ever before as we take the franchise in a new direction.”
