Kinect and Razer scoop T3 awards

Kinect was named Gadget of the year at this year’s T3 Gadget Awards.

The Xbox 360 motion accessory also took home the Gaming Gadget of the year, in a ceremony that also saw Samung’s Galaxy S II beat the iPhone to the phone of the year prize.

Another gaming winner was the Razer Switchblade, which claimed the Innovation of the Year award. The laptop tech combines a customisable keyboard that changes to suit the game that is being played, with a touch screen and an Intel Atom processor.

With our established focus on human interface devices, moving the mouse and keybaord experience to the next level was a natural step. Razer isn’t just about bringing innovation to the PC, but creating products that will change the future of gaming. The Razer Switchblade is one such product,” said Min-Liang Tan CEO and Creative Director at Razer

The T3 Gadget Awards saw 960,000 votes cast by consumers.
