Kinect receives price cut in US

Microsoft has announced a permanent price drop for Kinect, for some of the world at least.

Major Nelson revealed on his blog earlier today that the new reduced price is set at $109.99, and is available immediately in the US.

The Major explained similar cuts are coming soon to the rest of North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific, adding that Australia and New Zealand will have an opportunity at the discounted price on October 4th.

Unfortunately, price drop plans for regions including Europe, Middle East, Afria, or Japan apparently are not in the cards.

The Major also noted that retail prices will vary region to region based on currency and ‘other variables.’
