Kinect Sports gets Facebook app

Microsoft has launched a Kinect Sports Facebook application that offers integration with the motion-sensing game.

Developed in partnership with Rare, the Kinect Sports Facebook league allows users to compete with friends and family members who also own the game.

A custom league can be created by inputting a selection of sports, difficulty level and other players. Stats and scores can then be compared between all players taking part in the league.

Gamers can access the app on Rare’s Facebook page to take part in the extra experience. There’s also the option for Kinect owners to upload their gameplay videos to the app to share with others.

Kinect Sports went on sale in the UK yesterday as one of the launch titles for Xbox 360 motion accessory Kinect.
