Kojima bemoans ‘meaningless year’

One of the most successful developers in the games business has lashed out on Twitter about what appears to be the cancellation of a mystery project.

The thing that I spent one year delicately preparing became meaningless,” Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima posted on his Japanese Twitter feed, as translated by VG247.

I can’t take it anymore; this is unbearable, I can’t stay positive.”

It’s a guessing game as to what project Kojima refers to. Titles in development include Metal Gear Solid: Rising and Metal Gear Solid 3DS. He’s expected to reveal a new NGP title at E3, while Zone of the Enders 3 and a mystery "devil" project are both believed to be in planning.
