Latest Humble Bundle approaching 500,000 units, $4m in sales

The Humble Indie Bundle is a pay-what-you-want limited time promotion packaging multi-computer platform indie games and indie game soundtracks together. Their current effort Humble Bundle V is far and away the best offer the company has produced, and it’s clear the move is paying off big time for all involved.

Currently 462,847 bundles have been sold bringing in $3.76m. The bundle surpassed $2m in less than 24 hours after launch. Those numbers shatter previous HIB records, with still nearly a full week remaining for the promotion to play add on.

Speaking of add-ons, three additional games have been thrown in (should buyers meet the average purchase cost)—a trademark move for the Humble Bundle that’s intended to spice up things for the latter half of the sale period.

Games include Super Brothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, Amensia: The Dark Descent, Limbo, Pyschonauts, Bastion, Lone Survivor, Super Meat Boy, and Braid.
