Martinet to host Galaxy 2 launch

Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario and possibly the nicest gent in the entire global games industry, is to host Nintendo’s official UK launch event for the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Taking place at GAME’s Oxford Street Store in London on the evening of Thursday June 10th, admission to the event is free. The first 50 to attend the gathering dressed as Mario will win an exclusive Galaxy 2 goody bag.

Martinet will be signing copies of the game and posing for photos. And here’s a tip from MCV – he’s always more than happy to say It’s a-me, Mario” when asked.

Four other stores will also be hosting themed events between Friday June 11th and Sunday June 13th – Gamestation’s flagship Birmingham outlet, Argos in Leeds, HMV in Glasgow and Smyths in Dublin.
