Mass Effect producer Casey Hudson joins Microsoft’s HoloLens team

Ex-BioWare executive producer Casey Hudson has joined Microsoft Studios in the role of creative director.

Hudson has begun work at Microsoft’s offices in Redmond, Washington, where he’ll focus on development of games and experience for the firm’s HoloLens headset.

The industry vet spent over a decade and half overseeing the development of each of the three Mass Effect titles, before departing the studio and EA as a whole last August.

Hudson will report to HoloLens chief evangelist Kudo Tsunoda, who received the promotion along with other responsibilities for Microsoft earlier this year.
