MCV Awards 09: Retail winners

The Retail category of last night’s MCV Awards was one of the most hotly contested of the evening – with GAME and Play.com picking up the biggest prizes.

GAME won best High Street Retailer awards, as Play.com beat out rival Amazon for the fourth year in a row to claim the best Online Retailer prize.

Other retail winners included HMV Gamerbase (Retail Innovation), Mike Barnes and Pearl Robinson (Store Managers of the Year, pictured) and Gamestation Birmingham New Street (Star Store).

Nintendo sponsored the Retail category of prizes.
