MCV hiring news and night editors

MCV is looking to grow its editorial team – with both in-house full time staff writer and night editor freelance vacancies open.

For our in-house role, a genuine passion for journalism is required, plus some understanding of video games. Not the other way round. The role is working out of our Hertford office, which is just 30 mins north of London, writing copy for both our weekly print magazine and our website.

Night editors must be able post content out of hours to our busy trade hub www.mcvuk.com, creating content and breaking stories for readers outside of UK office hours. Ideal writers for this will be based in North America and able to quickly generate copy from a mix of sources. The opportunity is perfect for self-starters with good writing skills and knowledge of games.
