EA shifts executive structure

EA Games Label executive vice president Patrick Soderlund will take on an expanded role filling Wilson’s former position as head of EA Sports.

Meanwhile, EA Labels president Frank Gibeau will now lead the publisher’s mobile group, as well as taking control of EA’s digital distribution service Origin.

COO Peter Moore will continue to lead EA’s global publishing and marketing organisations, in addition to the publisher’s worldwide customer experience and global media solutions teams.

Gioteck parent company GBB names Nick Howard as head of UK sales

Howard will now be responsible for leading UK sales, working with GBB’s retail partners and distributors.

Howard has an extensive sales background having begun his career with GSP and Koch Media before joining Midway

Games as European sales director in 2009. After this, he moved to a similar role at Tradewest Games.

GBB general manager Alan Jones said: Nick will help to strengthen the Gioteck brand and further our share and revenue aspirations in the UK gaming accessories market. His experience in the gaming industry and the strong relationships he has developed with key retailers will help continue to drive Gioteck’s rapid expansion in our home territory.

Howard added: I’m extremely excited to be joining an innovative and forward-thinking organisation like Gioteck. I am really looking forward to continuing the great work that has already been done to position Gioteck as a leading gaming accessories brand."

Anakan CEO Marie Amigues steps down from localisation specialist

She set up the company in 2006 and will vacate the role from September 25th. Amigues has a history in marketing, having held positions as US marketing manager at Aubade and product manager at Les Nereides. It has been an intense and wonderful time creating this company from scratch and very satisfying to see it grow stronger and more successful year after year,” said Amigues.
