Meet the top 50 innovators in mobile games and apps next week

A special event hosted by MCV sister site Mobile Entertainment showcases top UK mobile content and technology firms

Mobile Entertainment’s Top 50 Mobile Innovators project is now in its fourth year, continuing the mission to discover the best of British talent from the business of mobile apps and games.

The campaign recognises UK-founded companies – small and large alike – for their efforts to stimulate the sector with new innovations across gaming, video, sports, social, augmented reality, payments and more.

Some of this year’s winners include Another Place Productions, Beamly, Blippar, Chillingo, Citymapper, Guerilla Tea Games and Kuato Studios, but you can see the prestigious list in full on the ME site.

A champagne reception will celebrate the winners on Wednesday, October, 1st at the 30 Finsbury Square, London office of Grant Thornton, and you can be part of the event by picking up tickets for just 30 each.

Gaming veteran and founder of 22 Cans Peter Molyneux took to the stage last year to offer a few pearls of wisdom, during which he called Steve Jobs a bastard. The 2014 edition will include speeches from Mubaloo, Pollen and YPlan who will discuss innovation, funding and expansion respectively.

Partners of the event include business adviser Grant Thornton, global law firm Dentons, PR agency FieldHouse Associates and fintech company Pollen, so book your tickets now and don’t miss out on the chance to enrich your business and bolster your contacts book.
