Metal Gear Solid, Zone of the Enders get HD remakes

Konami’s development legend Hideo Kojima has announced what could well be one of the biggest sellers of the Christmas period – the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Due out on both PS3 and Xbox 360 this November, the SKU will include high definition re-workings of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

There will be seperate release for PSP outing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The PS3 version will allow for the transfer of save games between the home console and PSP.

In addition, Kojima has confirmed an HD remake of the PS2’s two cult Zone of the Enders titles for both PS3 and Xbox 360. These will also offer save transfers for Sony’s machines.

The first two Silent Hill games will also be getting the HD treatment.

Metal Gear Solid Rising is also said to be on track for 2012.
