MGS V, Super Mario Maker top YouTube’s trending games for September

YouTube has released its top ten trending” games from last month, with the chart showing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Super Mario Maker out in front for the period.

Behind the pair, sports titles NBA 2K16 and FIFA 16 finished third and fourth respectively, though Madden 16 is conspicuously absent.

The toys-to-life genre nearly covers the bottom half of the list, with Disney Infinity 3.0 in sixth, Skylanders: Superchargers in eighth and Lego Dimensions in tenth.

Frictional Games’ new release Soma was the only indie game to make the list, grabbing the ninth spot.
