Microsoft: Indian market needs game prices at a reasonable level

Amid regularnews of hikes in game prices across the board in India, Anshu Mor,group head of Microsoft India’s interactive entertainment business, believes that reasonable game prices are vital for the Indian market.

Despite the Dollar price increasing, we believe that the need in the Indian market is to have game prices at a reasonable level,” Mor told MCV.

Mor added that Microsoft was looking to drop prices on its Xbox 360 first-party games in India.

The prices we control are for first-party games and at least for the portfolio we have in the market, we’re looking at how we can effect a price drop there”.
