MICROSOFT: Minecraft heading to Kinect

Minecraft will no longer be available only to PC owners.

The first person world creation game will make its console debut exclusively on Xbox 360 Kinect this winter.

Microsoft’s Phil Spencer showcased the title briefly at the platform holder’s E3 press conference.

Developer Mojang Specifications released the game on PC last year in beta form. Swedish developer Markus Persson was reportedly earning $350k per day from the title last September, before forming Mojang.

Minecraft will also arrive on Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play smartphone.
