Microsoft reveals Beautiful Game UK dev competition

Microsoft has announced a new competition that will give UK games developers a chance to better show off their work through Windows app stores.

The Beautiful Game contest is open to all UK games developers that publish new games on Microsoft Windows 8 or the Windows Phone Store, or port their existing titles over to theses marketplaces. Each game entered will be showcased on the Store.

For every download, they will receive points with additional points awarded for quality in areas such as audio, visuals and gameplay. Developers of the 20 titles with the most points by the end of the competition will win a range of prizes.
