MIDWAY GAMERS DAY 08: Blitz The League II unveiled

Midway has announced that it will ship the sequel to American Footballtitle Blitz: The League in the autumn.

Speaking at the company’s Gamers’ Day in Las Vegas, Midway CEO Matt Booty explained that the title will feature all-new team gameplay and plotlines that mirror real-life stories from today’s sports pages”- as well as the violent gameplay Blitz fans have come to expect.

The game’s logo and a short trailer were shown off, but Booty promised more information about the game will be made available at E3.
