A major new update for Minecraft’s console release has begun rolling out, Mojang has announced.

A post on thedeveloper’s blogdetails what the team is calling the console version’s biggest update ever.”

We’re constantly improving Minecraft on all platforms but this is actually our biggest update ever, bringing the console versions closer to the current PC build than they’ve ever been before,” the studio said.

The patch is out now on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms. It’ll arrive in the next few days” for Vita, but unfortunately isn’t scheduled to hit Wii U until 2016. Hopefully that turns out to be a matter of weeks, rather than months.
