Minecraft: Pocket Edition arrives on Windows Phone

Minecraft has landed on yet another platform this week, as the Microsoft-owned property is now available for Windows Phone devices.

The Pocket Edition of the game – out already on the Apple App and Google Play stores – can be purchased on the Windows Phone store for $7.

Though it matches the previously released mobile version of the game, Microsoft states that the Windows Phone edition also includes several items that were recently added to Minecraft’s PC edition – such as new biomes, creatures and infinite” worlds.

Minecraft is also currently available in one form or another for PC, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, Raspberry Pi, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
