Modern Warfare 3 confirmed for DS… but not 3DS

Activision has announced that a DS version of Modern Warfare 3 is in development at Orlando studio n-Space.

However, what it has not done is announce a version for Nintendo’s new 3DS handheld.

Quizzed on the reasons for the decision on their forums, n-Space said that it’s simply doing as it’s told.

"You guys all need to understand that we make the games we are hired to make," the studio said, as reported by CVG.

"It is not our call to decide which platforms to support. Obviously we are big 3DS fans and supporters as we have 3 titles in development. If it were as simple as us choosing what products and platforms to develop for I would get a lot more sleep."

Treyarch has already been named as the developer of the Wii version of Modern Warfare 3.
