More freebies for PSPgo buyers

Anyone who buys Sony’s UMD-less PSPgo will now be entitled to a free full game download, the platform holder has announced.

Anyone who signs into an existing PSN account or registers a new one on the PSPgo will be free to choose from one of the following titles – Gran Turismo, Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines or MotorStorm: Arctic Edge.

The offer will run until January 10th.

The deal follows a similar promotion run by Sony in the first week of PSPgo’s launch where early adopters were rewarded for their purchase with a free digital copy of Gran Turismo.

Sony also runs another free download scheme, dubbed PSPgo Rewards, where those logging into PSN with their old machine with a UMD disc in the drive are entitled to three downloads from a catalogue of 17 titles.

MCV has contacted Sony to clarify whether this new offer will replace PSPgo Rewards or will run alongside it.
