Mousesports sign German Vainglory team Rebirth of Empire

German eSports organisation Mousesports has entered the world of Vainglory by signing top European team Rebirth of Empire.

Founded in 2015 Rebirth of Empire went on to win the Vainglory Master Series and finish third at the European Winter Live Championships in London, establishing themselves as one of the best Vainglory sides in the world.

The new deal will see the team play under the Mousesports organisation, with their first competition being the Vainglory European Spring Season Qualifiers that start tomorrow. The players, along with an analyst and the team manager will make up Mousesports’ Vainglory division, which they hope to grow further in the future.

Mousesports is not the first major eSports organisation to sign a Vainglory team, as Team Secret, Team SoloMid and SK Gaming have all entered the eSport over recent months. With viewing figures and prize pools quickly rising in the mobile MOBA many teams are looking to capitalise.
