NASSCOM Gaming Forum’s 2nd Hyderabad meet-up in July

The NASSCOM Gaming Forum is heading to Hyderabad on 7th July for its second developers’ meet.

On the agenda is a talk on publishing games on Steam by Vinnie Reddy, CEO of BlueGiant Interactive. The Hyderabad-based studio is currently working on its new PC strategy title – Tryst, and self-published its previous game – Apox, on Steam.

Also scheduled to speak is Imran Khan, studio head for Griptonite India, who will focus on the road ahead for mobile game development.

Rajat Ojha and Atul Sharma from the newly formed The Awesome Game Studio will also be in attendance to talk about why developing hardcore games still makes sense.

The 2nd Hyderabad meet-up is scheduled for 7th July from 10:30 am to 2 pm at Hotel Novotel (Hitec City, Madhapur). Head on over to the Facebook event page to confirm your attendance.

Before the Hyderabad meet-up, however, Mumbai is set to host its 2nd meet-up on 23rd June (more details here), while the second Pune meet-up is scheduled for 30th June and will feature Jump Games’ post mortem of its game Real Steel. You can confirm your presence for the Pune meet-up here.
