New Call of Duty game reveal this weekend

The next title in the Call of Duty franchise will be unveiled this Sunday, according to a new teaser page for the game.

The page reads Get Ready for a New Era of Call of Duty,” and shows images of a soldier and what appears to be the Golden Gate Bridge.

A countdown timer on the page indicates the full reveal will hit at 10 AM US Eastern Time on Sunday, May 4th. Polygon rightly points out that up to three decisive matches in NBA playoff series could take place that day, and Activision has had a history of partnering with the organization to advertise the series during games.

The latest Call of Duty effort is in development at Sledgehammer Games, and expected to launch on PS4 and Xbox One.
