New digital boss for Atari

Publisher Atari has announced the appointment of Alexander Chung as its senior director of digital strategy and distribution for its North America operations.

Chung will oversee the company’s PC and casual games distribution strategy in the region and will report to president Jim Wilson.

His previous employers include The Walt Disney Internet Group, Ubisoft and Yahoo. Most recently he worked as a business consultant.

Alex joins Atari as we continue to drive our business into the online market,” Wilson stated. His strong background in casual and social digital distribution and strategic partnerships will reinforce and expand those revenue streams.”

Earlier this month Atari appointed John Hayase as its senior VP of product development.
