New Dirt game teased by Codemasters

Codemasters might be working on a new entry in its Dirt racing series.

The studio put out a job ad today on Twitter (below) which read: ‘Graphics Programmer wanted for a DiRTy little game we’ve been working on’.

The full job ad says the developer’s racing studio is expanding and seeking new developers to work DIRT and Grid IPs.

Codemasters is yet to announce a new DIRT game.

Earlier this year, news emerged from the studio that a number of jobs were in jeopardy. Codemasters confirmed to MCV that several jobs were subject to a consolation period.

Eurogamer also reported that there had been a Dirt game in the works to be released over Steam Early Access, but due to licensing issues this was unlikely. As a result the development team had been downsized.
