New games buyer Scott joins Comet

Lucy Scott has been named as Comet’s new games buyer.

She replaces Azeem Sadiq who has moved categories to Vision Essentials, Home AV and digital services.

Scott joins from Argos, where she worked for over four years on categories including jewellery, gifts, luggages, DVDs and DIY.

I’m very happy to have joined Comet at such an exciting time and although I understand there are some challenges in the games market I’m excited about the great launches I’m hearing about for peak and beyond,” she told MCV.

I’m not yet an avid games player but I’m looking forward to trying out the new technology and who knows maybe I will become a serious gamer one day.”

Scott replaces Azeem Sadiq on MCV’s Retail Advisory Board.
