Ni No Kuni passes 1.1m shipped on PS3

Studio Ghibli RPG Ni No Kuni has joined the million sellers club on home consoles.

Siliconera reports that global shipments of the Level 5 developed game have now passed 1.1m units worldwide. The title was published by Namco Bandai in Europe and the US and by its developer in Japan.

Add sales of the original DS title in and global shipments have reached 1.7m.

As a result of the success a brand new version has been announced for PS3 in Japan.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch – All in One Edition will be released digitally on PSN for just 1,000 (5.80) on March 13th. It includes all the DLC, and east mode and other assorted gameplay extras.
