Nickelodeon releases Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles app on iOS

The Heroes in a Half Shell have begun their assault on the global games market.

Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run is now available for 1.49 on iTunes. The endless runner allows gamers to play as any of the four ninjas.

Special features include the bullet-time-esque slow-mo Turtle Time mode and a host of customisation options as well as weapon upgrades and gadgets

The game is available in eight languages – English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Latin American Spanish and Spanish, err, Spanish.

Nickelodeon acquired the Turtles licence in late 2009. In February of this year it announced a multi-game agreement with Activision, the first fruits of which will be released in the summer.
