Ninja Gaiden II heading to PS3

A remake of Tecmo and Team Ninja’s previously Xbox 360 only Ninja Gaiden II is to be released as a download on Sony’s PSN.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will once again by developed by Team Ninja, Kotaku reports, though of course it will not be developed by now departed former studio director Tomonobu Itagaki. Instead, the game will be handled by Ninja Gaiden Sigma developer Yosuke Hayashi.

Few details are known about the title, but expect it to be much the same as the Xbox 360 original but with some notable extras, most likely in the form of new playable characters and possibly extra levels.
