No Madden NFL 25 demo, though EA Access users get to try early

For the first time in around a decade there won’t be a gameplay demo of the upcoming Madden game from EA.

Speaking to IGN an EA rep confirmed that subscribers to Xbox One’s EA Access program will be the only ones offered the chance to access a pre-release version of the game.

"The difficult decision not to do a demo for Madden was strictly a result of the team’s commitment to deliver the highest quality game possible," the rep said. "We chose to put 100 per cent of our development resources toward the full game."

Is it safe to presume that pre-release demos of all of EA’s new games will be hidden behind the EA Access wall in future? Don’t bet against it.
