No PS3 or Xbox 360 release for Fallout 4

Last-gen console owners won’t be invited to the Fallout 4 party, Bethesda has said.

The game was officially announced last week with PS4, Xbox One and PC as the named platforms. Rumours had pointed to a last-gen release, too, but it seems that this was wide of he mark.

It is not coming to 360 and PS3,” Bethesda community manager Matt Grandstaff told Neogaf users. The stuff we’re doing will never work there.”

More about the game will be revealed at Bethesda’s first ever E3 press conference, scheduled for the next week.

Sales of older Fallout titles rocketed following the announcement of the fourth version.
