Now GameStop slashes Driver: SF to £21.97

GameStop.co.uk is currently offering either the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions of Driver: San Francisco for just 21.97.

The company tweeted the deal at 12:52pm, saying that it would run for an hour.

Last week the retailer hit the headlines when it reduced current UK No.1 Deus Ex: Human Revolution to just 20.97. Again, this deal only ran for a very limited period.

It’s an interesting strategy and one that certainly guarantees a high level of traffic to the new website.

GameStop has chosen to forego any attack on the UK High Street. These current tactics very much suggest that it has serious intentions of breaking into the online games space.
