Nvidia brings Kepler to notebooks with GTX 680M

Nvidia has announced that it is bringing its latest Kepler graphics architecture to notebooks via the GTX 680M mobile graphics processor.

The Kepler technology is already available in desktop graphics cards, and the GTX 680M will be Nvidia’s top-of-the-line GPU for high performance gaming with low power consumption on notebooks.

The GTX 680M will first be seen in the latest iterations of Alienware’s M17x and M18x ultrabooks, which are set for release a couple of weeks from now.

The new GPU will also be available in the MSI GT70.
