Online sales giant backs MCV Awards 2011

The Hut Group has signed as the sponsor for one of the key accolades at the MCV Industry Excellence Awards 2011.

The online retail giant, which operates multiple websites including Zavvi, is backing this year’s Games Publisher award.

The MCV Industry Excellence Awards moves into its ninth year in 2011. The event will take place in front of 600 trade professionals on Thursday, April 7th at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London. Radio presenter and comedian Iain Lee is on-board as host for the night.

There are 19 awards up for grabs across three main categories: Retail, PR & Marketing and People & Industry. Lobbying is now open, with a deadline of February 11th. Send suggestions to MCVawards
