OnLive app now pre-installed on LG series Google TVs

LG and OnLive have announced a partnership that sees the cloud gaming service pre-installed on all LG Smart TVs in its G2 series.

The app will let users stream games on LG’s Google TV models, along with allowing access to save files on any PC, Mac, or Android device. Titles can be demoed, rented or purchased as a bundled unlimited play pack that offers over 200 titles, with more arriving each month.

Owners can play online with other LG G2 TV and compatible device owners, and any title purchased through OnLive can be played across all compatible platforms as well.

The latest update for Google TV supposedly arrived for current G2 TV customers through an automatic software update sometime earlier today. The LG G2 TV series is available in 47-inch ($1,699.99) and 55-inch ($2,299.99) models.
