Operation Flashpoint 2 dated

Codemasters’ Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising will be released worldwide in early October.

The game will be released on October 9th in the UK, October 8th across Europe and October 6th in North America for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

The title is the sequel to the hugely popular 2001 FPS title Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, and was originally due for release in the Summer.

The game is built using Codemasters’ EGO engine, which powered the award-winning Race Driver: GRID.
