Crytek’s Warface hits 5m registered users

Free-to-play FPS Warface is seemingly doing the business for Crytek in Russia.

The studio has announced that the game has now reached 5m registered players in the territory. The news comes in the same week as the shooter received the Best Online Game accolade in Russia’s Runet Awards.

Reaching the five million registered users mark speaks volumes about the quality and appeal of Warface,” VP of Warfaxe’s publisher Mail.Ru Group Vladimir Nikolsky stated.

With a combination of first-class visuals and gameplay that is second to none, Warface stands out from the crowd and promises to attract even more attention from players in the future.”

The game is penned in for a European and American release in the near future” with Trion Worlds co-publishing.
